(Berlin, WI.) November 1, 2006 - Magnum Products holds press conference announcing its lead gift of $2 million to launch the capital campaign to build and operate a new Boys & Girls Club in Berlin, WI, Magnum's home facility.

In 1990, Tom Joseph, owner of Magnum Products LLC, came to the Berlin community with a dream and a plan. With support of the Berlin Industrial Development Corp. he was able to start Magnum Products. Today, a leading manufacturer of light towers, generators and other mobile power equipment, the company is thriving and is expected to do sales in the $75 million range.

Tom and his wife Carol, grateful for their start in Berlin, wanted to be able to give back to the community. Recognizing the potential and the positive impact a new Club facility would mean for the young people of Berlin and the surrounding communities, they shared their vision and purpose. Their dream is to make a real difference in the lives of youth by opening more doors to education and leadership, and providing opportunities for them to succeed.

Tom & Carol presented the gift of $2 million on behalf of Magnum Products LLC, leading by example; their gift serves as the foundation to make the dream come true.
