Company's honorable mention for 2007 CG Schmidt Ovation Award for corporate support nets $1,000 contribution for Community Health Network Foundation.

Milwaukee, October 17, 2007 - CG Schmidt, one of Wisconsin's largest construction firms, announced today that Berlin's Magnum Products LLC., a manufacturer of light towers, mobile generators and other power equipment for the rental and construction industry, has received an Honorable Mention 2007 CG Schmidt Ovation Award for Corporate Support.

In honor of Magnum Products' community involvement, specifically with the Boys and Girls Club of Berlin, the CG Schmidt Foundation will make a $1000 contribution to Community Health Network (CHN) Foundation, the non-profit that nominated the company. While a $2,000,000 donation Magnum Products made to help build a new Boys & Girls Club facility in Berlin was generous, it is the consistent involvement in the club by Magnum Product's owners and employees that earned them this honor.

"Magnum Products demonstrates that it doesn't take a big company to have a big impact on the community," said CG Schmidt Senior Vice President Dan Davis. "Magnum Products reflects the spirit of the Ovation Awards. Their employees lead by example and we hope the company's efforts will inspire other small and medium sized businesses to actively support our community."

The Ovation Awards are designed to inspire giving in the small to medium sized business community by honoring smaller, lesser-known companies and their employees that give with all the vigor of larger, more prominent businesses. The Ovation Award for Corporate Support recognizes companies that have created long-term partnerships with non-profit organizations through financial or in-kind support, board involvement and the encouragement of employee volunteerism.

CG Schmidt presented the Ovation Awards at the Donor's Forum of Wisconsin's Annual Statewide Conference on Philanthropy. Directions, Inc. of Neenah won the 2007 Ovation Award for Corporate Support. In recognizing Directions, the CG Schmidt Foundation made a $2500 contribution to Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services, which nominated Directions.

CG Schmidt will award the Ovation Award for Volunteerism next April. Nomination forms will be available at wwww.cgschmidt.com.
