Berlin WI, March 1, 2009-- Magnum Products LLC is pleased to announce the acquisition of CH&E Pumps, effective as of March 1, 2009. CH&E Pumps has been manufacturing pumps since 1908 out of Milwaukee WI. Their product line of pumps includes centrifugal and diaphragm pumps and mobile engine driven trash pumps.

Magnum is extremely excited with the addition the CH&E pumps bring to the Magnum product line offering. CH&E Pumps are well known for their durability, reliability and heavy-duty construction. Magnum now offers a complete line of submersible pumps, diaphragm pumps, and portable, stationary, and mobile trash pumps from 2" to 12".

"This acquisition is a win-win for Magnum; it provides us with the opportunity to offer a complete line of pump products to our customers in the rental and construction industries," stated Mike Thuecks, President of Magnum Products, "and it will help secure our workforce in the midst of these challenging economic times and provide future employment opportunities."

After a brief transition all operations; manufacturing, sales, customer and technical support, and service parts distribution will generate from the Magnum corporate facility in Berlin WI. Production is slated to begin in April. Currently, the CH&E product offering will be limited due to the reduction of materials at the time of the acquisition.
